Empowering Resident Engagement
Linked Senior enhances all aspects of resident engagement including back office and administrative tasks that provide total front and backend support to your resident engagement team. Our product digitizes all the tedious, paper-based methods used by wellness staff including programming and activities planning. There are four ways in which our product helps you optimize resident engagement:
Get to Know the Resident
Understanding the unique life experiences of each resident empowers senior living communities and ensures every person can live in a meaningful and purposeful way each day.
A truly person-centered model of care that increases wellness must be built on a deep understanding of who the older adult is and what their current needs and preferences are. The Linked Senior Life Story tool helps staff, family, and volunteers see people holistically, beyond just their medical needs, which in turn means their care is individualized and person-centered.
The data collected while getting to know the resident, enables staff to use the Linked Senior product to analyze the current needs and preferences of the person and provide recommendations of programs based on their unique profile in real time.
Linked Senior helps staff provide opportunities for social engagement by providing technology that staff can use to understand how to plan programs based around common preferences expressed by residents. Staff can make plans in real-time as data is being collected and analyzed 24/7.
The Linked Senior product can be used on most computers, tablets or smart TVs. The Celo app is used by family members and staff to engage residents based on their personal experiences with activities such as games, brain fitness, music therapy, reminiscing and other therapeutic interventions.
The modules provide stimulation and meaningful engagement, no matter a person’s current cognitive ability.
and Optimize Engagement
Real-time reporting available through Linked Senior allows the interdisciplinary team to understand the unique needs of each resident and thereby better support their daily experience and give voice to their unique preferences during a care conference.
Family engagement is finally made easy and transparent by showing how long and when a resident has been engaged, whether a change of interest has occurred or even what staff members have been interacting which each resident. This real-time analysis allows for better communication, enhanced visits, increased satisfaction and emotional equity building.

“My focus with activities has always been with adaptation so that residents are able to participate in their leisure interests. Linked Senior does that very well. The variety of topics helps to include all residents at some point. Linked Senior also greatly reduces the amount of time needed to program, leaving activity staff more time to engage. And since it is a self-contained program, it can be used by anyone from independent residents, to family & resident, to non- activity staff & volunteers. We have actually begun training select nursing assistants on the memory care unit to use the tablet.”

Collington Continuing Care Retirement Community
“Linked Senior is a great service! It saves me so much time! Our later stage dementia residents pay attention to and enjoy watching the videos, listening to music, listening to movies, etc. for longer amounts of time that exceeds the expected attention span for a resident with advanced dementia; assisting with behaviors and non-safe actions. We love our Linked Senior!”

“Linked Senior is really very helpful to us activity directors and also very useful to the residents; even to those who have one-sided weakness. One of our residents was really touched when I showed him the slideshow of the Philippines. He said, “I haven’t been back home since 1962. It brings back memories and I didn’t know that the Philippines have improved so much. I felt like I went back home.”

“One of our residents came to a Program today called Historical Moments where we were using Linked Senior. We played John Kennedy’s Inaugural Speech. When the speech was over, the resident was in tears because it was the 1st thing she heard when she came to this country from Poland. She was so overwhelmed by the contents of the speech and the freedom of our country. Linked Senior is used every day here in Programming and is so important to the residents.”

“One of our mobile but by his choice room bound residents was introduced to Linked Senior. He spent a very long time exploring it especially things to do with baseball. It got him out of the room for something other than a shower and that’s the point I want to make. He is all excited about it and couldn’t wait for his friends to visit to show them. This IS what it’s all about, Thank you.”

“The Linked Senior system has been an incredible resource to our recreation program! Our registrants – who vary in age and cognitive ability – enjoy and benefit greatly from this technology. Now that we have had the Linked Senior system for months, we can’t imagine our program without it.”
Kathleen Behan & Danielle Maers

“I was very skeptical about Linked Senior for my resident programs because I had very limited ability in using a computer. The fact that there are not a lot of steps to follow to reach your goal and that everything is done by touch really won me over! Also, since we have become one of your clients, you have been most gracious about listening and implementing our suggestions. I am really in awe of Linked Senior and this program has erased my shyness and allowed me to grow more confident in presenting programs to our residents.”
“Linked Senior increases expectations and consistency between our communities. The service and materials provide a standard platform and high level of quality. Programs are quickly developed and easily accessed by communities.”
